Why don't you collaborate and organize an East Coast event- ->
to be held on the road at the same time as the West Coast event...
National event that would have made Matt proud

Are people interested in a g2g/drive/bbq type of deal? Or more interested in a track day?
I know BeaveRun is here north of Pgh, and Matt had driven it before (I first met him there in July 2003). But, track days cost people money ($165 at BR), etc. If folks are coming in from out of town, they'll already be spending money for the drive, possible lodging, etc. Thoughts?
The BR schedule is below. It's pretty packed up in the closest months, but opens up more towards September-ish. There's a Flat Out (open lapping) Day in May, but I'm sure that's almost filled up. In June and July, there's a Flat Out Friday each month, but that would involve people taking time off, and registering here soon. They do have karting up there too, but rental is $22 for 10 minutes and $55 for a half hour. Hmm...
I'd be willing to help as much as possible from this end...

We've toyed with a track event, but getting that many people on the same page- ->
for a track day will be tough.
Getting them together for a drive is a different story.. even if it is an over-night deal. Let me see how the local enthusiasts feel about it.
