Mysterious stain on rear pillar
Hi everyone,
What are your thoughts on this? This is behind my rear passenger window, on the pillar. Do you think this could be a clogged sunroof drain or something? I'm a little concerned because there's an airbag/electronics in that area I believe.
I got my car in December and never noticed it. I presume it was there when I bought the car. I am thinking about taking a small carpet cleaner to that area, but not sure if I'll pull off the fabric and make it worse.....

You are correct. Clogged sunroof drain. Mine is the same right now. In the past I gently worked the stain out with a light dusting of carpet cleaner and a clean brush. No damage for me.
