New to AudiWorld, bought a S4 Avant
Hey i now have a 2002 6 speed S4 Avant and i love it. I can hear the turbos a lot kinda sounds like what i would think are them failing. However i still have a lot of power. Shifting into second the ESP flashes when i get on the throttle hard. Turbos still have a pretty good whine to them though. The whine is the same as i heard in another post about failing turbos but it was unclear to me if the video was a failing turbo or not.
Just thought i would get a few opinions.
Let me know what you think.

Welcome... Luckily enough for you it seems the RP Turbos are beginning to become a pretty solid substitute for buying BorgWarner K04s if those are not in your price range... There is a lot on the topic of blown turbos but if you're looking for direction I would begin to save your pennies now. Turbos whining can go at any time, they can last thousands of miles that way as long as they aren't consuming much oil. Keep an eye on your oil and coolant levels.
And if you're trying to preserve the life of what is left on your K03s, stay out of boost as much as possible and always wait until your oil is @ least 175*F and your water temps are up... But by the time your oil is @ 175* your coolant will be up.
Good luck!
