I was thinking it's confusing calling Don's RS6 car stage 3+ when people with RS4 KO4's and meth, RS4 parts, or whatever have been called stage 3+ for years. Technically I'm still stage 2+

It is pretty silly. I mean stages 1-3 are pretty specific and then 3+ is like the catchall for anything else. Like it could be a stage 3 with a vinyl sticker and now it's the same stage as my car? I don't think so.

Yeah, people were using the term stage 3+ since before anyone was even using RS6's or GT's, so it doesn't make sense to have completely different, bigger turbos still be stage 3+. Maybe RS6's, Tial 605's, GT2554's and other turbos bigger than KO4's that people would run on a stock block can be stage 4 and turbos that people build engines for (GT2560/28060, Tial R770, whatever) can be stage 5. Then again, maybe that's too many stages

You can never have too many stages. I plan on going stage eleventy at some point, just as soon as figure out a way to get that rocket booster mounted on the roof.
