Default You're scaring the crap out of me. Is the pinch bolt really that hard to remove?

I'm getting set to do my install this coming weekend.

Default It can be. We tried to whale on both sides and nothing even budged...

Sometimes it will pop out, if not some people cut it out, etc. I didn't want to get that involved so we studied the geometry and just went for it. Search the forums and you'll see that bolt has a reputation. In the tech article i referred to the car was only a couple of years old vs. 6 on mine, alot of bonding of bolts can take place in that time.

Got new ones. Just worried about beating on the old ones and them not coming out
