every seems very helpful here.

I cannot locate it using google or with my eyes. Where is this sensor on my car?
Has anyone changed one out before?
2007 s4. 4.2 v8

my problem is my car will start and run fine for awhile. when I turn it off then come back to start it will not start. it will crank over but not turn over. after about 15 mins it starts and I I'm off...now its getting worse. it will die at a dead stop, stop light etc. its shuts off...I wait and it will start.
I changed the fuel relay already. no difference. I read on here that it sounds like the crank shaft position sensor.
I have a new one.
now need help installing it.

found it, its in the back of the engine. remove coolant res. reach behind block..very low..horrible to get to.

Did that fix your problem? I’m starting to have this issue.
