Southbend

Southbend
Alright I've searched and found most of what I need to know. I've seen the polls, read about the companies. Iwas about to order C/M fx400 6 puck, But I don't think I need anything that agressive. I don't plan going stg 3 anytime soon. I just want a pesonal point of view of a southbend stg 2 clutch w/ a resufaced flywheel. How bad is the chatter (if any), Clutch pedal feel, Diver satisfaction. All help much appreciated, Putos.

All I can tell you, Puto, is that if you are not getting a lightened flywheel then the risk of chatter is virtually nil. Even with a LW FW most people don't have problems with chatter on this car.
Don't know many people with a southbend clutch, so can't help you there.

I've got a southbend unit with my Stg3. No difference from the RS4 unit I had previously, and that felt the same as stock. I've been very happy with it. I'm not using a LWFW.

If you aren't going stage 3 you should run a RS4 kit. It'll save you money and keep your car on OEM parts. The RS4 kit is good for 380HP at the crank, so it is perfect for any mild build S4. I'd also recommend keeping your stock flywheel and resurfacing it. Or if you go lightweight, don't go lighter than 12lbs if you are worried about chatter.
