Ugh...exhausted... the day was busy with spring conversion stuff..

Default Ugh...exhausted... the day was busy with spring conversion stuff..

Here's what I had on my list...

- Get car up on jack stands (done..took an hour...fark)
- wash it good, while it can't get away (done..)
- remove winter wheels (done..)
- un-install the InterCooler Misters and V1 display with LED display (selling this kit and installing Meth Injection!) (done..)
- Swap out the PC'd parts tighTT did for me (not done..)
- mount summers (done..)
- detail calipers (done..)
- grease rear bar (not done..)
- detail engine bay (not done..)
- stop by Coyotee's house to bother him (not done..)

Plenty more stuff to do and it isn't April yet!!

If theres one benefit of being of stock height... it's easy to jack the car up...

The lightweight jack fits under with no problem...I should have skipped asphalt in driveway...

Default My day...

#1 Drop off my OZ SL's and my spare Avus (full size spare conversion for the avant), plus the 5 tires (all fit in the avant, Woot!) for mounting and balancing. DONE

#2 Finally get my XM Commander setup from my old S4 avant installed in this one. DONE

#3 Meet ColoradoMark for lunch DONE

#4 Hit Home Depot for replacement landscaping lights DONE

#5 Install said lights and clean up yard and water feature DONE

#6 Ship stock downpipes DONE

#7 Pressure wash wheels, then detail wheels at home to remove track pad dust from yesterdays track day DONE

#8 Drive down to Denver with the wife for dinner NOT DONE

Wow, did a lotta stuff today!

Default I really was expecting you to drop by. Now I'm going to have to ................

kill the hooker, put her in my trunk and drink all the beer by myself.

Here's my list from today. Note, all items were completed!
1. Wax Summer Wheels
2. Change over to Summer's
3. Detail each wheel well while doing #2
4. Wash the Winter's
5. Vaccuum car
6. Polish exterior glass with pc
7. Wash car (2x with dawn, which did not fully remove the 6 or so layers of Blackfire)
8. Polish car with pc, glaze car with pc and finish up with a layer of protectant.
9. Clean glass, inside & out
10. check fluids under the hood.
11. Clean Up the mess in the driveway.
12 Play catch with Litte Anthony. He started T-Ball yesterday and Soccer starts tomorrow.

Default Since everyone is posting what they did today....

-Woke up at 12:00 because my neighbors lawn people cranked up their turbo charged lawn mowers AHH!
-Fixed the taillight on my dad's Durango and filled it up with gas since that thing gets .01 MPG
-Came back
-Had Lunch
-Took the S4 to Mobil to get gas
-Put the Control Arm/Tie Rod's kit in the trunk and took out the hooker since the car is going in for a front end job LOL
-Sent LI S4 an email
-Thats all I can remember
-I'm thinking about planning a GTG but I doubt no1 will come

It sounds like you're pretty savvy with your S4. Could you give me any advice on detailing the calipers? Did you remove them to do this?

1) Remove driver's side suspension
2) Disassemble Shock/Spring
3) Fight with it
4) Clean Threads
5) Throw Beef stew on stove
6) Reassemble with new upper spring mount and spring perch
7) Realize I forgot to bump on the bump stop
8) Disassemble Shock Spring
9) Forget about beef stew
10) Reinstall Shock Assembly
11) More Fighting
12) Remember about Beef Stew on Stove
13) Realize Beef Stew mostly burned
14) Eat Burnt Beef Stew
15) Button everything up and lower
16) Check all tire pressures
17) Test Drive
18) Help friend rotate wheels/tires on his WRX
19) Put away tools

20) Now it's time to get my drink on - Boston Beer Works ;-)
