VCDS-Lite to Diagnose Slight misfire/RPM dip?

VCDS-Lite to Diagnose Slight misfire/RPM dip?
Blip doesn't happen all the time. Only after the car is warm, sometimes. And happens 3x/minute @ idle. I can't even begin where to start.
Has anyone had enough experience with VCDS-Lite,to know if it can tell me where the problem lies? (Fuel Pump? Coil-Pack? Vacuum Line? Dirty fuel filter?)
So many places to start.
