what chip is giving the best performance..apr?? giac??

GIAC, APR, AMS, ASP, etc. are all nice chips. I recommend that you drive a few in your local forum
and check them out for yourself if you can. It is fun and a great way to meet your fellow enthusiasts. I had three ECUs until just recently and drove GIAC-X, APR v5, and GIAC 3-, and ASP 3 ECUs.
On my car, GIAC-X made more power, but APR was smoother. HAve heard ggod things about AMS and ASP as well. Depends on what you like.

I was actually trying to have my question come across sincere...
ok, well- like rktskicar said, I would try and find someone local to give you a ride in both. Otherwise I would see what dealer has better suport in your area. I happen to have a great GIAC dealer in town (15 minutes away) so I went with GIAC. I have had GIAC software in all of my Audi's <A4, S4, TT> never had a problem and was always happy with the results after getting chipped!
