Looks like your center valve cover/spark plug valley gaskets are leaking.

Default i had valve cover gaskets replaced about 5k ago.

think this would be sign of a bad install of those?

what damage can i do if i don't fix this (right away)?

Default Well, either the gaskets were messed up, or the area of the heads/vc's are warped...

I don't think that any immediate damage will occur. Worst case scenario if enough oil gets in the valley it could destroy the plug. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. Also, since there is no oil on the threads or the electrode/tip area, it doesn't look like you have leaky cylinders.

Default No problem, sir. Also, if you look down into the spark plug valley, you should be able to see if

there is oil coming from the VC-head union where the gasket resides. I had the same problem before I replaced my gaskets.

Default then it's oil from the valve cover gasket change (or before it)

don't worry about it .. it could also have been there form before .. u haven't touch the plugs in long time so it most likely it occurred before the gaskets were changed and whoever did it did not clean in there that's all .
think about it:

15k ago - plugs.
5k ago - valve cover gaskets.

Default Most likely the gaskets, but warpping is not ruled out.

I recommend that you check for warppage, in whatever way the presure test them... blah blah...
You do not want to have to take it apart again.

This might sound dumb but is it possible that they didn't change the center gaskets?
