what should i use to take off the bolts between the tranny and driveshaft, regular hex or ball hex?

what should i use to take off the bolts between the tranny and driveshaft, regular hex or ball hex?

are they hex bolts or triple squares?

They are triple squares....I am guessing due to a high torque spec.

Default By driveshaft, does he mean the rear driveshaft? Because they are hex. The front axles..

are triple square.

I ordered my SK...couldn't find it anywhere in a store...I should sell it.

Default AutoZone and CarQuest both carry them, not so sure about Sears though. I know Sears doesn't make a

T-27 torx wrench/bit (for removing tip tranny pan). Strange.

Default they are hex bolts......I have one right next to me....

i had one strip on me and i didnt know if it was cause i was using a straight cut hex socket when i should of been using a ball or if the hex socket i was using just was just a bad batch from craftsman.
