I've been wanting to go for an even more understated look (with a hint of menace). About a month ago, some moron backed the trailer hitch of his truck into my front bumper, and since the shop was going to have to take apart the front of the car anyway, I decided to have them install the RS6 grille and replace the chrome badges with matte black ones. I also replaced the stock mirror covers with carbon fiber ones, which match the Carbon Atlas Inlays in my interior.








In terms of parts, I used the ECS RS6 grille. Note that if you have the Night Vision option (I don't) or the Driver Assistance option (I do), you need the grille with the camera mount:

I also got matte black Audi rings, trunk badges, and quarter panel badges from Audi Badges - OEM AEMÂ*Audi Sline Badges Emblems and Accessories for A3 A4 A6 A8 and S4 S6 and S8 Vechicles.

Finally, I found the carbon fiber mirror covers on eBay. The shop had to trim them just a bit to fit, but I'm very happy with the result.
