OK, I'm looking for suggestions. I looked down at the speedo on the way home and I was going 90 and didn't even realize it. It was effortless. I've been in a behemoth SUV for too long.
I'd like opinions on radar detectors.

For a portable, I have the Passport Max 2. Really works well!
I'll likely do a built in Passport when mine arrives. I have had built in K40s for years. Currently my M3 has a built in K40 Calibre. The Passport Max destroys on range, even in the rear and my K40 has a rear antenna! The Passport has GPS marking and really good false rejection ability.
So, I use a windshield Passport Max 2 in my M3 with the K400 built in turned off!

Initial thoughts:
- This car is VERY red (not a bad thing, but make sure you LOVE red before ordering).
- This car is terrifyingly fast for a nighttime delivery in an unfamiliar area. It is MUCH faster than an A8 with the same engine.
- No CarPlay (or maybe I just can't figure out to activate it).
I hope to have pics and sound clips tomorrow, weather permitting of course.

I test drove a A6 with sport package then a A8 to 'try' to get a feel for the engine.
I'm not sure what to expect other than a faster car than my 2010 S4...although may not handle as well.
I thought that if the iPhone was connected via the Audi Smartphone connection that the menu for the CarPlay would automatically show up. But obviously I don't have the car yet so I'm not sure.
Congrats on the car. I'm sure it's a sexy beast. Cannot wait to see pics and especially that exhaust!
