For as well as Audi has designed their interiors I'm surprised at how much of an afterthought the big ugly HUD box on the dash is. The reflection was a bit distraction at first but I'm getting accustomed to it now. I leave the HUD on which makes it less distracting to me than when Ive tried driving with it off.

BT still has album art but sound quality is noticeably worse than a wired connection.

I agree. Believe it or not though, the 2016 HUD is actually more streamlined than the previous years.

Oh, I forgot to mention earlier. The 2016 comes with acoustic glass (at least on the windshield, didn't look for imprints on the others). Not sure if the older ones did, but I think that's new as well.

My 13 A4 has acoustic glass on the windshield. I'd expect it anything higher, especially an S model.

Cabin is quiet. Can't compare though since I've not driven an older s6.

All MY16 A6 and A7 have added acoustic front side windows also.

Mine don't say Acoustic on them, like the windshield does, but this very well could be true. The front of the car seems to be quieter than the rear.
