Hey everyone, I am considering an APR tune for my 2016 S6. Does anyone on here have the tune? If so Stage 1 or 2? I would also like to know if it's worth the money and if there really is a major difference in performance. Any advice/suggestions are much appreciated!

I got it. Stage I, and there is a noticeable difference. I also have the Bluetooth dongle. I would do it all again. Make sure you get it done by a recommended installer and let your dealer know. There are some service centers am that are tune friendly.

I have stage 1 and the transmission tune as well. Stock the car is ok, but with the tune its a monster! Best money I ever spent. BTW, only go with APR.

Stage 1 here. A whole different car. Absolutely fantastic, and how the car should come from the factory. Amazing.

Get the Unitronic tune. It has more power and you can flash at home and back to stock whenever you want. I have a 2016 and I can highly recommend it.

Have you had any issues with TD1 after flashing it back to stock? I reeeeally want a tune and piggybacks don't appeal to me. I'm very close to pulling the trigger with Unitronic.

The car hasn't needed to go to the dealer yet, but will be soon, for it's first service.

Can I ask where you got your tune done? I am picking up my S6 tomorrow and would like to get this done (I am in OC).

For those that have gotten it done, any concern with warranty issues?

Anyone have experience with EPL tune? I like the fact that they have a ECU+TCU tune that can be done from your own garage and the ability to flash back to stock at any time, kind of like Unitronic. Seems like the S4 folks are very happy with this vendor.

I've known Tony for going on 13 years now. I've dealt with him when I had VW's previously as well as when I was messing with Porsches. He's a brilliantly smart guy and offers a fantastic product. I'd have no hesitation working with Tony to do work on my S6.
