Audi S6 Body Years
Can anyone tell me what years the current body has been running?
I see they did a mild refresh in 2016, but did this current body start in 2014?

Minor change in 2016:
"More Dynamic Design
The 2016 Audi A6 and A7 receive new front and rear designs for a more dynamic stance and greater presence on the road. A vibrant new front fascia includes new LED headlights design for an unmistakable light signature on widened, Singleframe® grill and bumpers for a more focused stance. Audi is generally on a seven year cycle (initial design for years 1-4, and a facelifted design for years 5-7). The current A6 body style (C7) was released in North America as a model year 2012 vehicle. The next A6 body style (C8) should be released as a model year 2019 vehicle sometime in calendar year 2018. The S6 model will likely lag by one year. Hope this helps.

It's also worth noting that the next generation S6/7 is purported to drop the V8TT for a higher-powered version of the S4 V6TT. If you want a V8, you may want to buy a current model.

I know a lot of people feel that way, but V6s are now producing +400hp. And for a lot of people like me, the fact that they generally weigh 200-400 pounds less than a V8 means that a V6 powered car will be more nimble and a better handler. Personally, I think that's a better than V8 bragging rights. Porsche, Merc and Jag have already gone that way. Audi will follow. I think it'll only be BMW with a V8 (the new M550i) in their non-M/AMG models.

I agree with the V6 vs V8, but what I'm saying is that the current V6 isn't getting it done in my book. V6 with 333hp on this big of a car, feels like any old Camry, Accord, Passat automobile.
