Avant Garde Wheels - Good Company? Good Quality?
Good morning,
I am thinking about another set of wheels to either be my winter setup or to be a new summer set up and put winters on my OEM wheels.
I have the 20" Black Optic wheels from the 16 S6. Color is Sepang Blue.
Has anyone had good or bad experiences with the Avant Garde Wheels? I am looking at either the M510 or the M580. Bronze would be a cool color on blue IMO.

I've been checking out the AG threads on Audizine. I don't know about the company or wheel quality but I haven't read anything bad about AG.
There are two vendors that have threads that feature the various colors available. Here's some colors that I think would look good with Sepang Blue.
Bronze burst
Antique Bronze
Gold bullion

Just placed my order for the M580 in dolphin grey. 20x8.5
Blizzak LM-32 mounted and balanced. Free shipping from getyourwheels.com
I was going to go bronze but was told that's a painted finish and not as tough as the dolphin grey which is powder coated.
29lbs a wheel and apparently the stronger of the wheels avant garde makes.
Will take pictures when they show up.

Hey Stillwater. So you totally nailed the two wheels I'm also considering for my summer set-up. My S6 was ordered with the 19's because I really liked the AG 580 and 510's in a 20.
And for what it's worth...IMO the dolphin will look better on your Sepang that the copper. I cannot wait to see pics of your car with these installed!
Curious why you went with the 580 vs the 510?
Thanks man.

I like that the spokes on the 580 seems to come out of the center whereas the 510 seems to come out after the lugs.
Price is about the same.

Received the wheels this week. First impressions are good.
Powder coating is great. The entire wheel got it and coverage is great. It is glass smooth unlike the OEM black optic wheels which feel rough to me.
All came with blizzaks mounted and balanced. One wheel took a bit of weight to balance it seems (2oz) but if the roll smooth I do t really care.
Clearance is about a nickels worth by the caliper and the weights. They surely wouldn't fit if they were 19s.
I almost think next spring they become my summer wheels and the oems become winters. That decision is 6 months away.
