Blizzak Tire Noise
This may be a "no duh" for some but I put on winter tires 2 weeks ago (it was starting to get cold and then its been 60-70 degrees since...)
Since putting the tires on the road noise sounds like a commuter train or a NYC taxicab with worn wheel bearings.
It was so bad I thought "this can't be the tires" and brought it in to the dealer and they confirmed its the tires...
Now I regret the decision I made earlier to swap the tires onto the stock rims as opposed to a different set...maybe its time to revisit that decision.
Incidentally I ran Dunlop WinterSport 3Ds on my VW Golf TDI and never noticed unusual road noise.

The risks of driving your winter tires year-round
Poor performance on dry pavement
Winter tires are designed to give superior traction on ice and snow. On dry and wet roads, however, you’re sacrificing handling. In addition, winter tires in the summer will be squirmy and noisy.

Those tires should not be that loud. I have had blizzaks on a Infiniti that was not that well insulated and they were never that loud. I run Michelin Pilot Alpin Pa's and they are as quiet as summer or all season tires. They only get loud after about 30,000 miles of usage for me.
I would consider taking them back.

Blizzaks
The guy at Tire Rack said that the Blizzaks would be noisier than the Alpin PA4s, So I went with the latter, which are only slightly noisier than the Pirelli P zero stock tire.
