If you were changing tires, you should hae gone with 265/35/20. A little more grip, a little better ride.

Thank you.
They were new take offs from a 2015 A7 black optics package with 10 miles on them. $2200

Actually the 255 size has a measured rim width of 9 inches on them at Tire Rack with a range of 8.5-10 inches. I did not want to go with the 265s because that would have increased the outside width an additional 5mm. I feel that a 1/4 inch is enough without having to worry about stone damage to the paint. But if you prefer 265s go with it.
