Is the extra 30 HP noticeable? 2016 has sport package which I don't think was available in 2013. How big of a difference does it make and in what way?
Anything else?

The 2016 S6 sport exhaust sound is very noticeable & in dynamic/sport, even more noticeable. It provides lots burbling and popingh on deceleration. The 2016 S6 sport differential only comes with the sport package.

Found my old window sticker and it says sport differential was standard then. I guess it is only the exhaust that is new with sport package.

On the 2016 S6 (USA), only the sport option gets the sports differential, which was my motivation to get the sport package.

As previously mentioned, the sport exhaust sounds much better. The 13 was disappointingly quiet.

There were several changes to the MMI:The processor powering the MMI is faster, resulting it running noticeably quicker (Also, you can now have a nav map display between the gauges in the dash). There is a USB connection in the console replacing the proprietary Audi connector. Most everything else is cosmetic.

I did not notice any acceleration improvement from my 13, though I am remembering what it was like prior to the APR tune. The 16 is distinctly slower than my 13 with the tune (16 will get a tune down the line).

As an aside: the blackout trim is much better at hiding brake dust on the wheels and around exhaust tips.

The 30 HP increase has been widely accepted as more of a revised and accurate reporting of actual HP, in other words it has the same HP output with a more accurate stated HP. (Funny thing is I believe, based on my research, the S6 is still underrated; most Dyno's result about 489HP.)
another thing that I'd say is not "cosmetic" is the Double pane door glass (a lot of people forget about this)

Where does it say 2016 comes standard with the double pane glass? I missed that.

Where does it say the car has static cornering lights? It's like many other things with the Audi line up, a lot of independent research must be done to get accurate info.
The Dual layer'ed glass as far as I understand it, was added into the 2016 mid-cycle refresh of the S6, along with all the other things, new head lights, new rear lights, USB, etc, etc. I admit it's difficult to find it in official print, (kinda like the static cornering lights) but you can read it through sources that report the differences in the 2016 mid-cycle upgrades and improvements.

Yep, the upgraded glass (front windows) was added for 2016.

Interesting. Did not know that. Anyone have pics of the window edge of a 2016?
