Mine has started doing this in cold weather. I'm not hearing other cars of similar age doing this. Hope it goes away when it warms up, but it's cold often enough that I'm not a fan of the squealing

I never heard any cold weather squealing with my 2007 S6, 2009 Q5 or 2010 S5. The first of the winter squealing started with my 2013 Q5. Audi had a fix for it (new pads installed Spring/2014) and the problem reappeared the following Winter. The dealer replaced the pad and rotors last winter and it's still squealing this winter. My 2014 S6 has the same problem - squeals like an old 1976 Nova when pulling up to a traffic light. Can't wait for warm weather!

Only have @5500 miles on my 14 S6. All of a sudden as the weather gets colder an occasional screech in the front right brake.

20K on my 2013. Only below about 30 deg F do I notice it, so I ignore it. I didn't think my baby was sick, just cranky in the cold.

Mine seem to go away after I wash my car. It just makes me wash my car more often, which is not a bad thing.

They turned me over to Audi Care. Audi Care told me to take it back to the dealer, but the dealer won't do anything.

I read all over the forum that people are having this problem, but there appears to be no resolution. How can Audi be OK with this. I never hear brakes of a BMW, Mercedes or a Toyota for that matter.

I love the car, but am so disappointed and frustrated in Audi that I am close to the point where I trade it in for a different brand.

Any help out there.
My squeaky breaks are louder than my moded exhaust pipes, what I can do is to fully close the window turn on the radio to let the pedestrians to get the torches.

BTW, I live in Australia so I don't think the brakes ever experienced cold environment problem. And the squeak happens all the time on low pressure brakes. I took to Audi twice. They claimed it is due to low on brakes but don't need to change yet. So I didnt pay $4000 plus on all four brake rotors.

But see here you mentioned it's an common problem. I will be waiting further for a solution🤔
