Hey, Gents... just to clarify, what exactly did you modify on the exhaust? I know you say rear resonator delete, but can we refer folks to an underside pic or perhaps a previous thread link? TIA.

Here, this should be more helpful. Just make sure they put and H or X pipe in place of the resonator, not straight pipes.

Perfect, thanks. So, you guys left the rear mufflers and flaps stock then, correct?

Yup! Leave everything else stock except the resenator. Now you could keep the resenator in place and remove rear mufflers and just straight pipe it through to the tips but that would sound a lot louder and probably be more expensive. My muffler shop wanted to start with that but since one of the valves is on one of the mufflers I didn't want to deal with all of that. IMO this is the perfect balance between ease, sound, and cost.

I agree, it really is a perfect balance. I had it done 3 or so weeks ago and am still loving it. Starting the car in the morning is almost as good as my first cup of coffee. Lots of people have commented not so much on the car, but on how amazing it sounds. People in the parking structure at my office always look to see what is coming; it just sounds mean, but in an exotic way.

2016 Audi S7 review - YouTube

djpeaksd, nice Vid man, in fact went thru all your S7 Vids, thanks for sharing the S7 here. Personally I love both the S6 and the S7, it's funny there are just a few differences but that Sport back looks amazing. Depending on where Audi is forced to go with CAFE in relation to the models, that might be my next car (The S7), especially if they have to break up engine output (making the S7 more powerful than the S6). I refuse to go backwards on HP and TQ on my next car. I look at the dam RS7 at my dealer every time I go in, and it is so beautiful, but I agree, it's a bit overboard, he logical and practical side of me takes over.

Default Source for X Pipe

I'm planning on doing the X pipe installation; however, don't have a source for the part. Can someone point me in the right direction? My local shop (EuroPros in Hampton Roads VA) wants me to bring the part to the table. Thanks.

They can't make one? My shop asked if I wanted them to make me one. It would have added about $100 to the cost. Not a big deal.
