Thanks for the tip. Do you know where I can find what the spec is for rotor thickness? Mine have some minor wear/scoring and I'm trying to decide between a new set vs. having the originals machined.

"Usually the min thickness is stamped on the face of the rotor"

So completed the fronts this weekend... sheesh... I gotta remember to use stronger zip ties. I had a caliper hanging from 2 of them and I accidentally twisted the caliper. Next thing I know, bang+scrape and I had a scratched caliper dangling from the brake line... Not my best moment.
My rotor was seized to the hub and the ball peen was just making dents into the rotor face. WD-40 and a full-sized sledge later, I managed to get this thing free. A bit concerned that I may have thrown the alignment off a bit though...
As a precaution, keep a spare of the torx screw that holds the rotor to the hub. I managed to strip that bad boy and had to drill off the head... Not fun
Anyone have the "anti-vibration dampers" break inside of the piston? for some reason, I had both of the middle dampers on the driver's side separate from the backing plates. Since there was nothing to grab and the angle was really awkward, I ended up just not replacing those two dampers. Nothing is ever easy...
Strangely enough, my brake wear sensor never triggered and lo and behold when I pulled the pad out, it was broken in two. When I removed the sensor, the system recognized it and threw up an error. Not sure what happened there.
On the brighter side of things, the Disc Italia Hyper Ceramics seem to work well and both squeals have gone away. About 150 miles in and so far the dust is negligible. I tend to baby the car on a daily basis anyhow so the braking effort isn't considerably higher than stock. So far so good!
