Default Replaced wood dash trim with Aluminum.

Never like the look of the wood with the black interior and never warmed up to the carbon fiber look, so this seemed like a good option. Also replaced the dashboard trim with piano black. The price from BKS was very reasonable.

Looks great!! Much better than wood, I never understood the appeal of that since we're not riding carriages anymore...

How long did it take to take off the old trim and put on the new stuff?

Very Nice. And interestingly simple and unique. That's not an interior option is it? (plain aluminum)

Thank you! It's called Aluminum Trigon and looks to be available site on the German Audi site. I had my shop do the install, it was literally a snap until they had to remove the console, which took about an hour.

Not mechanically inclined but love the CF look.

Have a 16' c7 s6 and whilst its all still new to me, the missing thing IMO is the CF trim.
What kind of cost on average does the OEM CF trim package run and how intricate and difficult is the installation?

Keep in mind I have a good relationship at local dealership but feel this is not something they would do so would be starting from scratch on the installation.

Any direction appreciated.

Funny you should say that. I have the CF trim in my S6 and would prefer the wood LOL

I have the wood in my S7 and really like it. One of the things that appeals to me about it is that ti is not finished with a high gloss but looks almost unfinished. It isn't shiny but more of a matte finish.

I agree, the matte finish looks much better, but what's up with all the taped off ****? Is that how you let your wife ride in it lol
