S6 to RS7

Clarification.
A number of you misunderstood about the $10k. I was referencing the loss on the S6. There is still a price difference MSRP to MSRP OF $32k, which was reduced by the discount offered on the new RS7.
That being said, the overall deal was pretty great. Basically the transaction would cost $30k all in from where I'm at now with the S6.

BTW, a 2015 M5 with launch control is only 0.1 faster than a 2015 S6. 2016 is listed at 4.2 on their website. I haven't seen the launch control numbers on the 16, but considering it has more power, it seems for daily driving it's a decent match to the M5. An M5 matching a Prestige S6 with a good amount of options is >$105k if you skimp on leather and color options for the M5. Current M5s are an overpriced car relative to the AWD S6. I know 0-60 isn't everything, but unless you're at the track, it's a good measurement.
We had a V10 M5 which was a piece of crap. Now, those were older models granted, but the transmission SMG II was hard to drive and the car would just stop working at random even when bought new.

If you ever took the ownership on a S6. And a M5. I would say it will be a waste for you to switch to a RS7. To my understanding, M5 and RS7 are same level on most aspects. From leather interior trims, power train, handling etc. It would be a waste of money for you to switch cars in the same area back and forth.
If you had the money, don't waste on switching around such expensive super sedans. Buy a supercar, and you won't have the headache anymore.
