Default 2016 Sport Exhaust

Hi guys, i own a 2013 s7 and i dont like the exhaust on it, its too quiet. Now with the 2016 model year s7 it has the available sport exhaust, i wanted to know what would be changed/added to the exhaust and if it was possible to maybe to get it in my 2013.

If you have unlimited funds you could try and retrofit the 2016 sport exhaust system but you might just want to look at AWE or other aftermarket exhaust options.

I don't want to spend a lot on an exhaust, do you have any ideas what little upgrades I could do to make the exhaust sound better but not obnoxious?

Not sure there is a cheap option. It's an S7, not too cheap.

You could open the valves with dynamic then unscrew the controls so the valve is always open.

That said, you're $3k in for a good exhaust. And the OEM retrofit would be crazy expensive.

I wonder if an x Pipe or something like that may work. But I have noticed that the valves are always open regardless maybe the previous owner has already done that.

Cheap. Though probably obnoxious.

You could replace the center resonator with straight pipe. Here's a shot from someone's thread.
