Rescuing an idle S7 and putting it back out on the road

I do not track it. Just mash the accelerator from time to time. Some would say spending $80K on a car to go from point A to B when an $18K car can do the same isn't practical. . How ever, you never know when you may find yourself in a situation wherein you have to race a Ferrari and win. Believe it or not, the engine in your S7 slightly modified has done it before. Again, may not be practical....

Do you track your S7? That doesn't strike me as very practical at all.

The S7 delivery touches down! Yes. I was nervous as he was backing out and did not retract the side mirrors.

I love the lights. Such a nice contrast with the dark color. I debated asking him to let me take it out of the trailer.

So we've had the S7 (code name "Tango") for one week now. My wife has been the primary driver, and she LOVES it!
We had a brief of snow with crappy roads to drive on in the early AM getting to work. With the 19" winter tires on, she had no problem at all driving the 20 miles to work. She doesn't have the same confidence as with our Cayenne S (runs on Blizzaks) but she attributes that more to not having driven the car long enough. There were NO issues with handling in the slush. Getting up our relatively steep driveway (20-25 degree incline) with about 2 inches of fresh snow, was no problem at all.
My driving experience in warmer weather (45 degree-60 degree) has been very positive as well. The acceleration is very smooth and silky. Not loud and angry like with my GranTurismo (but that sound is what I love about the GT). The S7 is deceptively fast because of the lack of noise (driving in 'Auto' setting). It handles curves at speed very well. I have lots of confidence with the handling in this vehicle for only having driven it a handful of times so far.
The interior is just beautiful. Very pleasant lighting from all the dials. The night vision is a neat feature as well. I'll have to drive with it more to know its real practicality. There is about a .25 second delay from what you see in real time to when it shows up on the screen. I don't think you could safely drive just by looking at it on a curvy road because of that delay.
The Bang and Olefsen radio is really nice to listen to. The bass is a little weaker than expected, but the sound is very crisp overall.
I'll post more when I get more experience with the car. So far, Very Positive!!!
