Radio turns on at loud volume
Hi All, this has happened to me twice since taking delivery of our Q5 Premium+ unit a months ago. When I turned on the car, the radio was on and at 100% volume. I immediately tried to turn down the volume but turning the button didn't doo anything. Finally I pressed down on the button and it muted. The sound was deafening.
Tried to turn the radio volume on again and it went right to max volume. Nothing seems to work, but if I turn off the car and then try it a few hours later, everything is back to normal.
Anhyone else having this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Which source ?
Sirius, am, or fm ?
Even though we don't listen to Sirius very much, we've found that when we do, overhead structures like steel bridges, low power lines will create a volume distortion momentarily....
Maybe you are in a parking garage and that enhances the antennae ?!?
could that be it ? we've never experienced that except on Sirius... good luck

However, if you leave your car with the volume low, and it starts up at a crazy volume, I'd take that to Audi and scare the hell out of the service guy - then they'll get serious about fixing it.
If it's something that you can't reproduce, and it just likes to happen when you least expect it, then I believe your car may be haunted, and you should seek immediate exorcism

Mine is the opposite way, every time I turn on the car it only give me volume level at "10" and I need to bring it up to at least "15" for enjoyment and sometime "18" if I really want the next car to hear it too.
