Default Puck for your floor jack

Here is the exact thing you need for allowing you to use your floor jack and lift your C7 A6 without having to take off any covers or anything. Better than using a hockey puck.

One side of this fits perfectly into the lift point on the Audi, and the other side is made for pinch-weld lift points so it works on my son's VW as well. Not bad for 10 bucks.

Couldn't you just cut a notch in your hockey puck?

Or am I being cheap :-)

Would require 3 notches.

My question for those who prepare for a road need. Will this work with the Audi supplied jack? Actually bought a hockey puck back when I took delivery but never needed it ... yet.

I looked at all the options out there for jack pads, then bought a hockey puck for $1.29 and it worked great.

From the picture in this eBay listing, it looks like the jack has a rounded top that fits into the jacking point socket.

Puck would be for use with a floor jack.

I've been using a body mount from a 1979 Jeep Cherokee. About the same size as a puck, a bit softer and it has a nipple on top that goes in the jacking socket.

Lol...you are driving an A6 and you are worried about saving 2-3 dollars? This is purpose made as a jack pad not the same material as a hockey puck and it's made to fit exactly. But use a hockey puck if you want. I posted this up for those looking for a jack pad made to fit an A6.
