Default Auxiliary Heater Timer with remote control

Hi guys.
Aux Heater works really nice and I have it warm and cosy inside the car when I go there...
Starting immediately with remote was not a problem, but I'm
little bit confused about setting up the timer with the remote...
Could you guys tell me how you do it with your remotes ?
I've read the manual but still confused here...
Greetz.

All good, I figured it out....
So in case anyone else would be wondering:
When you program the heater to have your car warm at let's say 8 am and use 30 min runtime - it will start at 7:40 - because it's programmed to run 10 minutes after the "departure time"...
So for example if you wanna have your car warm at 8 am and you want the heater to run
for 30 minutes, you set it at 8 am for 40 minutes:
Then the heater will start at 7:30 and will run til 8:10 - unless
you will turn it off , which I don't do cause the engine is cold and the heater pumps warm air inside the car while the engine is warming up while driving.

.. if you want your heater to run for 30 min BEFORE YOU ENTER THE CAR - I forgot to add

Wonder why Audi doesn't have it in America. It gets so cold here, especially in IL. Jeez.

Strange... IMO it should be available anywhere if a client desires it....

UPDATE:
After I played with it it looks like the runtime is set to 30 minutes by default when programming with the timer.....
So If you set the time to 8am, the heater will start at 7:40 - so it will run 20 minutes
before you come to the car at 8.

ya, stop rubbing that one in. Audi America apparently doesn't think we need this. Gonna be 0f out tonight and -18f Tuesday. Remote start and/or auxiliary heat timer would come in handy............................................. .............................

One more reason why my wife owns a new XC90 rather than a Q7.................... In fairness, I don't know if the Q7's have this option in America, because she never even wanted to test drive the Q7, but it's tough to convince her that she made a mistake when my A4 doesn't even have remote start........

She's rolling with a 2016 XC90 with a heated front windshield and remote start, in other words, when we both head for our cars in a parking lot at the same time, she's home by the time I finish cleaning the snow off my A4's windows.................... I tolerate the hassle simply because I know that when summer comes, my a4 is going to be a blast to drive................still, how hard would it be to add remote start????????????????

I think I read somewhere that there is a law preventing aux heaters in the US, can't remember where though but since nobody offers them here there must be a reason for that.
