Default Polarized Sunglasses - can't see the HUD display

Hey guys, has anyone experienced this? I bought polarized sunglasses and interestingly, rain or shine, the HUD display dims down almost to a point where you can't even see it at times. At first I thought it was a setting issue but then I took off the sunglasses there it was all nice and good. Anyone had this happen to them?

And to add, they are decent Rayban's..so not bad quality sunglasses either.

Yes. It's normal. The glasses perceive the HUD as glare. My Maui Jim's do the same thing as your Ray Bans.

Yup, Polarized sunglasses are supposed to reduce glare, well the HUD is basically a glare on the windshield. I have the same issue on my C7.

Experienced the same issue with my Oakleys. I thought at first I lost the HUD, forgot I was wearing sunglasses = P

You can still see it but really dim.

When I turn or tilt my head a little I can see the HUD better, just as a FYI.

I'm wondering how tint on the windshield will impact the HUD...
