In what models does TDI come in US?
#2
I'll chime in here...
Only in VW's at this point (New Beetle, Golf, Jetta, Passat & Touareg). Hopefully, Audi will someday bring their TDI's over here. I hear they have many configurations available in Europe (4, 6 & maybe 8 cylinder). With fuel prices on the rise, let's hope demand will grow for more fuel efficient cars in the US.
I drive an 03 Jetta TDI Wagon, and love it! I get up to 52 MPG, with the worst no less than 42 MPG in the city. Diesels aren't slow, smelly or loud like the old days. Plus, fuel is easy to find. It's amazing how many people hold on to these old attributes.
