fuel senders 225 ???

Hi all does anyone know if the fuel senders on the 1.8t 225 quattro are identical?? I've found out there is two but can't find if they are the same.

The split in model year 2002, they are not going to be identical. Once you determine the correct part number shop the part number, better pricing out there.

Mines a 2004 and how would I tell which one is broken?? I just don't want to throw lots of money at parts that are fine.
