Default Power Delay

Been driving my 2002 225HP for about two years and I still feel its the best driving car I have ever owned, however, off the line (from a dead stop) the car feels like it has to "spool-up" before you really feel the energy . Is this just me, or do you other drivers feel the same? Slow to Go. Or is it time for a new "something"?

Turbo lag. It's fun in a sports car, not so great if you use it for a daily driver.

If you want to be hot off the line, you'll be better off with a supercharged engine. For many years I drove a supercharged MR2 and could take any turbo powered car off the line. They always caught up to me later, when my supercharger was no further use and their turbo kicked in. But by then the race was over (in my mind, anyway)

Makes sense. Guess I'll read up on supercharged motors. Think I saw a youtube video on that subject a while back.
