Well, car is in to fix this damage - as with all Audi cars, it is not a simple case of replace broken parts! The area where the winged mirror sits was bent in the collision so the car is off the road probably for a week, damn it!
I tell ya'all, I am missing this car more so than anything else I have ever owned. The brief encounter has left me wanting more drive time.
Anyway, I will just drive another of my cars for now...damn pigeon, damn car, damn life...am missing my TTRS badly, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!, damn it!

If it makes you feel any better, I had my TTr for about 2 weeks before I got in a pretty nasty accident (20k worth of dmg) in an Asian mall right beside my office.
It's been gone since July 14th ... and they just started work this week due to waiting for parts.
Currently slogging around in a Grand Prix rental. FML.

Anyway, the thrils driving the car is still there and the handling is TOPS. I am really getting to know the car after 850 miles to date. Fab kit...

That pigeon must have been placed there by a Porsche, BMW or Mercs driver because it flew towards me even after swerving on to the other side of the road to avoid it...
