After 9 days with the TT, most of them rain days, I did my first wash today. Compared to my Mk2, this is going to be much harder to clean, especially the S-Line. Lots of horizontal "ledges' to catch dirt and water. The honeycomb surfaces on the rear diffuser and front bumper under the headlights really hold water ( I used a blower to dry them). The crease around the wheel wells and where it meets the rocker panel need special attention as the dirt catches in the sharp edge.

I can wash and dry my wife's Caddy ATS in a third the time of my allroad for the same hard edged "nooks and crannies" reason. The price to be paid for more aggressive styling and 'jewelry.' I can live with that.
