It looks nice Josh. Taking the enhanced filter and presumed slightly less weight case out of the equation is there any advantage to the box itself from an airflow engineering perspective?

Certainly, Huey. We have optimized the volume of the air box and its airflow for more power.

Do you have any dyno charts or airflow readings to prove the increase in power?

I think they have charts on their site but this is all about sound not power. I asked if it was a full carbon fiber box and never got a reply. A lot of these "carbon fiber car parts" are fiberglass and thick resin with only one layer of cf....very expensive for what, if any benefits it provides.

I can't personally knock it as I haven't tried it but even a dyno graph showing a 10 hp increase can be gamed. AMS did a great video on this very fact.

Air flow details, thermocoupler details and material details are needed before I drop this kind of coin on what can be assumed is a sound box. Sadly I don't think they will provide those kind of details.

Below are graphs for the A3 2.0T and the S3 2.0T without/with MQB S-FLO Carbon Intake.

Thanks, but do you have any before/after dyno runs on a totally stock car, minus any exhaust modifications?

I do not.

I do have data from our GTI, which had G.I.A.C. software only. Graphs below.

Aaron - our S-FLO Carbon Intakes are indeed full carbon fiber, composed of 3k, 2x2 twill with a UV stabilized resin, and the filter which gives an increase in flow rate of 30%.
