The title says it all, have they changed the mats? the size/location of holes etc, or does the mk3 TT take new floor mats unique to them?

Nope they don't fit.....Audi gave me the mk2 mats by mistake when I picked up my car.....had to take them back for mk3 set. Can't remember if the holes were off, but the mats didn't sit correctly at all on the floor. I got the rubber all weather mats, very nice.

Speaking of mats, the TTS ones are ok but not what I expected of an 'S' model. May look to CocoMats.

The Mk3 mats in my '16 TT are much better than the Mk2 mats in my '08 TT, same for the cargo liner.

Did you guys order these straight from the dealership? They didnt give me any mats besides the carpet ones with my tts.

Update: Since WeatherTech has not responded I decided to splurge on an authentic VAG TT cargo cover. Pricey but as anticipated a perfect fit with a nice circumferential lip. Sometimes ya gotta pay to play. I rarely carry any fluids in back but good peace of mind. Oh, and beware the link below as it is for a Roadster. Fortunately Audi does a VIN check prior to fulfillment and corrected same.

I too just received smooth synthetic matts for driver and passenger with no rear and no cargo area in my TTS. I don't really care about the rear as only one time had my petite daughter back there and I did repurpose/trim a WeatherTech for my cargo area (still waiting on a laser measured one; a number of requests made of them).

Does anyone know if the TT mk2 REAR mats fit the TT mk3? I am not expecting a perfect fit, but wanted to know if it will fit reasonably.

Since Audi and the aftermarket (such as weather tech) never made rear mats for the mk3, I am thinking of buying the TT mk2 rear floor liner for my TT mk3.
But I thought I'd ask before buying.
