Those are on the TT black optic package (in titanium) for MY17.

Those are my favorite wheels too. Anyone successfully negotiate getting the TT black optic wheels for their 2017 TTS order instead of the blades? Not crazy about the single tone blade wheels.

Why does Audi put cheaper looking wheel options on the TTS build options???

I really like the 19" blade design as I prefer mono-bright silver 5-spoke wheels. In fact one of the reasons I went 19" rather than 20". So you see, to each their own, and perhaps I'm Audi's demographic.

I really like those rims too.

I actually purchased 18" Replica's of those for my winter tires (rather run replicas for winter than expensive OEM since winters do a pretty good number on rims in Canada).
R36 Style

They also have the 2 tone blade style:
R73 Style

DAI ALLOYS // Alloy wheels, Mags
Click Wheels at top
Then Click ART at left side menu

Hi Iain,
Where did you buy the 18" wheels or did you have them shipped? I searched retailers on that site but none came up for Canada (I'm in the GTA). That's what I would like for winter.

Cheers,
Donna

Hi Donna,

I got lucky and found them on Kijiji. Used but in really good condition (winter will destroy them anyways over the years).

But I did find a few places that list them on their website, some in Toronto and some in Quebec.

Replica 36 | For Audi VW | Wheels Missisauga | Wheels Brampton

Audi Replica 36 R36 Gun Metal - Machined Face - Winter Tires Toronto | Snow Tire Packages

https://pmctire.com/en/art-replica-3...t-42-66-5.tire

https://www.canadawheels.ca/winter-wheels/art

Audi - AutoCare Montréal

https://www.sudburytirezandwheelz.co...-r36-gun-metal

Also if you type Toronto Ontario in the retailer search and select 50km. 19 retailers in Toronto show up.

The ones I got are 18" x 8" x 42mm offset (5x112)
I'm putting Blizzak 225/45/R18 on them (which I had from my last car).
I also ordered some aluminium hub centric rings from Amazon for them to fit the TTS. (they aren't in yet, probably coming from China).
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hope that helps.

Yes, thank you!!! I have my sights on Blizzaks as well. I put Michelin X-ice on my last car and wished I bought blizzaks. I should probably get this done sooner than later! LOL!

No problem.

I've always ran Blizzaks on all my cars (2000 Audi TT, BMW Z4 (rear wheel), Hyundai Genesis 3.6L GT (rear wheel)) and have always been very happy with their performance. So I plan on staying with them.

My TTS is still about 2-3 months away but I've already started getting together everything I need for winter (tire, rims, tire totes, felt pads, lug bolts, protective socket, ect.)
Going to me sure this car gets the best, within reason of course

Yeah, I've had Blizzaks before and I feel most secure on them. Did you drive the Z4 in winter? It looks like you've driven a lot of RWD in the winter. I'm impressed! I just don't have that same courage anymore. I love doing "doughnuts" in an empty space but have a fear of doing one on the 427! LOL!

Ya I drove both the Z4 (had it for 5 years) & Genesis GT (had it for 6 years after the Z4) in the winter.
All I do is put two 20kg bags of water softener salt in the trunk right over the rear wheels and with Blizzaks I've never had any problems with grip or control.
I'm also in Stratford, which is in a snow belt so we get a LOT of snow.

That's the main reason I like Blizzaks is because I felt safe in RWD cars in the winter with some trunk weight.

But Quattro is a whole different story
