"Active" Cruise Control Question.......can it be added to my 2007 Q7?
I had a 2009 A4 loaner that has this feature and really liked it, no guess work for setting the exact mph you want to set it to. I asked on the Q7 forum and folks with the 2008 model have this feature so I am guessing it can be set with a VAG-COM. I just need the code.
I was told Active Cruise Control is the name for what I am trying to accomplish. When you set the cruise the info area between the tach and speedo will tell you what exact speed you just set and then by moving the cruise stalk up or down will increase or decrease the mph by one. Also, if you hold it up or down for a second or two it will jump at 5mph increments.
btw, our Q7 is a 2007 4.2 w/o the Advanced Cruise Control. Any help will be greratly appreciated

Not a setting. This feature requires a certain software level of the ECU & Instrument Cluster.
In other words, nothing that can be simply activated. We have one customer with an A6 (4F) who retrofitted the feature by installing a newer instrument cluster as well as a newer ECU.
