Okay I thought all connections were the same, until I found this on my wife's A4. It seems to be an odd connector that my OBD2 connector doesn't fit on. It seems as if it is more squared and less angled than standard connector. Any ideas where I can find a tool that will work with it, without needing a laptop?!?

Hi Brian,

Just checked mine and it's exactly the same on my B8. My OBDII connector works fine, but is a tight fit (I sometimes think I'm going to pull my nails off trying to remove it). Keep trying. Only thing I can suggest is checking for bent pins or something stuck in one of the sockets. Good luck.
