Hi there im new to all this have just brought an a8 d3 4.2 but cannot select car setup from the mmi or finger print id or heating control suspension setup a new battery was replaced piror to the sale also have i got power fold mirrors or have all these been deactivated via vag com and can i reactivate these any guidance would be helpfull many thanks chris

Hi there,
I would suggest getting/loaning a Ross-Tech cable and listing what faults are showing. I emailed Ross Tech with my results and they were kind enough to tell me what was needed for me. Also many members here are very helpfull and have a wealth of knowledge.
