connecting up Vag com
Hi, I have just purchased a Vag Com adapter and am having great trouble installing the driver for it. I have followed the instructions on the Ross Tech website but I fail at instruction number 10 at http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/usb/usb-config.html It would seem that I manage to install a 'USB Serial Port (com3)
then when i run the Vag com software release 409, I goto options, the select USB or any other com port and click on test, I get the response after about 10 secs, 'Port status: OK Interface: Not Found!'
I take it that means I havent installed the driver correctly.
Can anyone help me?

Re: Which interfact did you bought? From whom?
I purchased from ebay, It came from the States, it does have a Autonostics sticker on it, I have tried looking at there website but it gives the same instructions as the Ross Tech web site.
