Default EGT sensors, stuck at 945'c.

Hi Everyone,
I was looking at my EGT sensors the other day, I was going to Log them out of interest to see what temps I am getting, but they were both stuck at 945'c.

I was looking at block 112.
I have no DTC errors.

I had just started the car from cold, then plugged in my VAG-Com (USB-Key) fired up the software, and it was at 945'c, I thought this is wrong, I drove for 10 mins, and it didn't change at all.

Am I looking at the correct block to log them?
Should I be looking to replace both of sensors??

Appreciate any comments
Cheers
Steve

For 2.7T, the Bentley CD says "Values below 945C are displayed as 945C."

Default Agreed, not a problem. And to get them to show big-time temps....

takes a revoked-license-threatening 3rd or 4th gear WOT pull to redline.

Thanks Guy's, I will do some highway pulls, and see what happens.
