Default OBD port not working

Hi guys,
I am new in this forum since I just bought a 2006 Audi A4 Quattro 3.0L V6 and I am unable to scan it. I brought it Autozone and Midas for a scan, and both of them used 2 different OBD scanners (4 in total) and none of them was able to read my car (connection error). The only think I checked was the fuse and it was OK. Any idea on how to troubleshoot it?
Thanks

No it does not. It has its original rns-e Radio. Just found out something weird. The previous owner put 2 switches next to the OBD port and when I removed the panel, those two switches were there to by-pass 2 fuses (or not, depending on the switch position) and one of them was by-passing the ECU. Any idea about it?
