Default Particle Filter Soot Mass

Hello,
I wonder what is the difference between Particle Filter Soot Mass (calculated) and Particle Filter Soot Mass (measured).
If i plug vag-com to my Audi A3 Sportback 1.6 tdi of 2010 year i can see negative values for Particle Filter Soot Mass (measured).
(E.g. today Particle Filter Soot Mass (measured) was -6.34 and Particle Filter Soot Mass (calculated) 18.54)
Do they make sense negative values in these parameters?
Could it be wrong some sensor?
Thanks for your help!
