Is it possible to get how much fuel left in the tank from an M block??

Is it possible to get how much fuel left in the tank from an M block??

The reason I'm asking is I don't trust trip computer numbers about how much longer I can drive before I run out of gas.

If I know how much gas left, I can make my own estimate

Dunno about that, but on the B6 A4, you can tweak the trip computer

I believe it's in one of the measuring blocks in the Instruments controller

I know I have seen it before (both a numeric value of some sort and a resistance reading from the sending unit) but as usual I am not near my car (and even further away from my VAG-COM) to go looking.
