Satellite Radio code?
Hello,
I installed a PhatNoise in my B6 S4 a few months ago and in doing this I removed my XM satellite receiver. I have had this code (see below) since and would like to recode it so that it will not look for the Satellite radio any longer.
I have searched high and low here and other places and I cannot find a way to correct this problem. Can someone help me!?
Thanks in advance!
Rob

That fixed it! Thank you. Quick question...
Is this info written somewhere that I should know? I searched here, on the Ross-Tech Wiki and looked in my Bentley manual with no luck.
I hate bothering folks for help but I really appreciate it!
Thanks again,
Rob

It's in the WIKI since late yesterday evening...

Stuff gets often gets added to the Wiki as a result of a customer inquiry
which causes us to go digging for the information. Then we put it in there to have handy for the next person that needs it.
In other words "I should have waited a few more days" probably wouldn't have worked..;-)

Perhaps a stupid question, but is this applicable/possible with MMI based cars (i.e. Q7)?
I'd like to remove or disable the Sirius tuner once the trial subscription runs out. I'm assuming that if I remove it, however, that I'd need to jumper the optical connection (based on some people's post about having to remove a jumper which retrofitting a Sat tuner). Thanks -mike

If you physically remove the tuner you'll definitley have to jumper the MOST ring.
If you want to see an example of what happens with a module disconnected, see the the link below.
