Hi Everyone, Appreciate any help you can provide here. Im using a Ross-Tech's HEX-COM + CAN v.908 (limited by windows 98).

Thought we were on the right track with the instructions below but after saving, the windows have done nothing. I've tried just holding the unlock for a straight 10 seconds and also pushing once then holding for an extended period. Does anyone know if I'm missing something or if there is anything I need to have unchecked to make this happen? Also, the key I'm using is whatever standard smart key that came with the car that I don't have to have connected to actually start the car.

Enable Remote Operation Windows and Sunroof

Bit 2 - Set to 1

The problem may well be that you are working with a 5 year old version of VCDS on a car that is 2 years old... 908 was released in 2009.. the data in that unit does not support 2013 models. I'm not saying for certain that this is causing troubles but I would not be surprised if that was the issue.

Find someone with a current install VCDS and have them try.

Activated it on a '14 B8 S4 and was stumped for an hour or so trying to figure out why the windows wouldn't roll up or down with the FOB. Turns out one you activate it in VAG COM you have to go into your MMI under central locking and turn it on. You should be able to choose between front, rear and sunroof or any combination of the three.
